

Students of the Month
Each month during the school year the Bartlesville Rotary Club hosts two outstanding high school students at each of the club’s meetings. Meredith LeMaster, youth service chair, introduces the students with a brief biographical presentation at the first meeting of the month, and the students themselves speak to the club about their Rotary experience, school activities and career goals at the last meeting of the month.
The Rotary Students of
the Month for January are
Nicole Biddinger
and John Tobola.
Nicole,
the daughter of David and Margaret Biddinger, is a member of the BHS
Academic Team, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor
Society and a former finalist in the Intel International Science and
Engineering Fair. She serves as a staff reporter of The Fourth
Estate and was vice president of the Oklahoma Interscholastic Press
Association in 2010-11.
John, the son of David & Gail Tobola, is
active the BHS band, steel drum band and Band Leadership Team.
He is a member of National Honor Society and the Bartlesville
Astronomical Society, an Eagle Scout and recipient of the Vigil
Honor in the BSA Order of the Arrow.
At the end of the school year, one of the honored students is selected by the club to receive a $1000 college scholarship.
